Universal Homes is headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona, and is currently constructing homes in Prescott Valley, Arizona. All Universal homes are built by Trade Contractors under the supervision and quality control of the Company’s management.
Universal Homes is currently building four separate and distinct product lines with homes generally priced between $150,000 and $400,000. The Company has purchased both platted and fully improved lots within the Granville Master Plan. The platted lots are improved under Universal Homes’ direction while the improved lots are purchased on a rolling option basis from Granville Development. The Company utilizes its own internal capital and limited outside financing to operate its business. Outside financing is restricted to major banks, typically as revolving lines of credit.
The employees of Universal are highly experienced, and professional. Senior management have been successfully involved in the home building business for more than 30 years in both public and privately owned enterprises. The onsite construction management all have extensive experience in the industry. The Company has developed a very good relationship with its employees and experiences a very low rate of turnover.
The senior management of Universal Homes has had extensive experience building homes over the last 40 years. Management has built in excess of 15,000 homes throughout the Southwest, including the States of Arizona, California, Nevada, Utah and Washington. These experiences have educated management to be in tune with its customers, their needs and desires. The Company endeavors to use the highest quality materials in the construction of its homes. In spite of our best efforts, it is not unusual to experience punch list items that need adjustment or repair after the close of escrow. As a result, the Company places special emphasis on its customer service and endeavors to make any adjustments or repairs as quickly as possible.
